These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EcuEdit. By creating an account, uploading files, or using any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Services

EcuEdit provides ECU file modification services including, but not limited to:

  • DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) software removal
  • EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) deactivation
  • AdBlue/SCR system software solutions
  • DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) removal
  • Other ECU-related modifications as offered on the platform

Important: Our services provide software modifications only. We do not provide physical parts or installation services. The modified files are intended for professional use by qualified technicians.

Disclaimer: Delete solutions are only for testing purposes and EcuEdit is in no way responsible if this solution is not used in accordance with the laws in your country.

3. Account Registration

To use our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Accounts registered by automated methods are not permitted.

4. Credits and Payment

4.1 Credit System

Our Services operate on a prepaid credit system. Credits must be purchased before requesting file modifications. Credit prices and the number of credits required for each service are displayed on our platform.

4.2 Payment

We accept payment via credit/debit cards (through Stripe), PayPal, Revolut, and bank transfer. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

4.3 Refund Policy

  • Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase
  • Credits used for file processing are non-refundable
  • If a modified file does not work as expected, contact support for resolution before requesting a refund

4.4 Credit Validity

Purchased credits do not expire and remain valid for as long as your account is active.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
  • Verifying that the use of modified ECU files is legal in your jurisdiction
  • Obtaining any necessary approvals or certifications required for modified vehicles
  • Informing vehicle owners about modifications and their implications

Legal Notice: Emissions system modifications may not be legal for road use in certain jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws. EcuEdit is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from the use of our Services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and the overall design, is the property of EcuEdit and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Modified files provided to you are licensed for your use only. You may not:

  • Redistribute or resell modified files
  • Reverse engineer our modification processes
  • Use our branding or trademarks without permission

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

While we strive to provide high-quality modifications, we do not guarantee that our Services will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that the results will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EcuEdit shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damage to vehicles or equipment resulting from the use of modified files
  • Legal consequences arising from the use of our Services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abuse of our support system
  • Sharing account credentials with others

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
